Recently she has been the recipient of a grant from the AHRC and has completed production residencies at EKWC, ‘s-Hertogenbosch; Chinese Arts Centre, Manchester; and Flat Time House, London. Her films utilise the tools of both the documentarian and the sculptor carving out new stories within new filmic spaces. She is currently working on a project about an incident of mass hysteria at a girls' secondary school in Brunei. This film will examine both how these incidences in Brunei relate to global occurrences of mass hysteria, and, the state of belief in a country altering the structural relationship of religion and spirituality to law and governance.
