Drawing its name from the academic home at Imperial College of its scientific

members, The Institute for Mathematical Sciences (IMS) project is a non exclusive,

interdisciplinary and international group of artists, curators, scientists and musicians

that carries out projects which consider the junctions between the research of

participating individuals. In exploring the space of these junctions, the group aims to discover new forms and categories of knowledge. At each incarnation the IMS project reinvents its identity as a group through consideration of its new public

context. This new context provides direct stimulus for established and new collaborations leading to new formulations of our research. IMS members are based in the UK, France, Colombia, Mexico and the US.
